Clean is not just a talking point for us. We adhere to the highest clean standards and our products are certified 97-99% natural. Our “no” list is long: we formulate without 2,800 ingredients considered toxic or harmful, including irritants like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, formaldehydes, and phenoxyethanol. From the ingredients to the preservatives down to the color, clean and toxin-free is an essential part of our credo.

Ethically formulated

Being ethical in our formulation is as important as being clean. You will find no conflict minerals or mineral colorants in our formulas, and our suppliers share our commitment to being cruelty-free and vegan. Our ethical pledge has earned us prestigious endorsements from Leaping Bunny and the Vegan Society.

Responsibly sourced

Responsible sourcing means that harnessing nature comes with respecting it. We are fully compliant with the Nagoya protocol, which is designed to protect biodiversity, and we often use biomimetic (or nature-identical) materials to avoid the depletion of natural sources. Our sustainability promise includes our packaging: now over 90% sustainable we will increase this with the migration of our airless pumps to post-consumer recycled plastic by the end of 2021.

Totally transparent

Transparency about clean standards shouldn’t be a radical notion. We abide instead by stringent European labeling regulations, listing every single ingredient on our INCI lists, without exception. This transparency is also evident in our fragrance which meets not only clean standards, but is also 100% hypo-allergenic. Our COLIPA Allergen disclosure report shows that we have none of the 26 allergens commonly found in skincare and fragrances. When you do things right, there’s nothing to hide.
